Newcombe, Andrew

Andrew Newcombe is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law, at the University of Victoria. Professor Newcombe’s research focuses on international economic law dispute resolution, in particular, international investment law and investor-State arbitration. Before joining the faculty, Prof. Newcombe articled and practised as an associate with Swinton & Co. (now Miller Thomson) in Vancouver. In addition to his academic work, Prof. Newcombe advises governments, investors and non-State actors, and acts as counsel and arbitrator in international arbitrations.
