Doris Bergen

Dr. Bergen is the Chancellor Rose and Ray Wolfe Professor of Holocaust Studies at the University of Toronto. Bergen is also part of the U. S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Academic Advisory Committee of the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies.

Her research focuses on religion, gender and ethnicity in the Holocaust and WWII. She has also been the recipient of SSHRC, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the German Marshall Fund funding and fellowships.
