David Owen is  a Professor of Social and Political Philosophy within the School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences at the University of Southampton. He holds a PhD from Durham University. His expertise is in ethics, philosophy, and democratic theory. Owen’s current research focuses on the ethics of politics and migration.
