Preservation, Destruction, Transformation – Podcast

A new podcast addresses the  issues related to systemic violence and human rights violations. In this  podcast  episode” Preservation, Destruction, Transformation”  the EuMePo lead Oliver Schmidtke  joins  experts Ry Moran, Carey Newman,  and Tavia Panton  to discuss ” How do we remember injustices when the physical signs of that history are no longer visible?”  and  “What do we do with the buildings and structures that still stand? And how are the memories embedded within these sites both painful scars and opportunities for healing?”.

The podcast  project Taapwaywin was created under the leadership of Ry Moran by a dedicated team based out of the University of Victoria’s Libraries and Archives.
